Cllr Mike Barker

Consultation due on Grass Street Park

6.00.00pm GMT Thu 12th Mar 2009

After the turf-cutting ceremony for the new North Road Primary School, there was an exhibition in the old school hall, including ideas for the future of Grass Street Park. Although the park will be smaller than at present, it will have all new play equipment

and landscaping.

Groundwork Durham, an environmental consultancy, had a display of various options for the new park.

Your North Road Ward councillors would like to know what local residents would like to see in the new park. They will pass on any ideas to Groundwork.
